Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Senior Auditor to join our audit team. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a variety of clients. You will be involved in risk assessment, testing of internal controls, and analysis of financial statements.

As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will also mentor junior team members and contribute to improving our audit methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning and Fieldwork:

• Assist in planning audit engagements, including identifying key risks and designing effective audit procedures. Conduct on-site fieldwork, gather supporting documentation, and perform detailed testing of financial transactions, controls and balances.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Verify that clients’ financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, Nigerian GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Assist in ensuring that audit reports are accurate, transparent, and completed within deadlines set.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of audit experience within a professional services firm.
• Professional qualifications (or working towards) such as ACA and ACCA are highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, Nigerian GAAP, and International Auditing Standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
