Job Summary:
The Instructional Designer creates engaging learning experiences aligned with organizational goals. This role requires expertise in instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess performance gaps, define training objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Develop learning objectives, instructional strategies, and assessments for diverse learners.
- Create interactive learning materials using authoring tools and multimedia.
- Utilize LMS platforms, integrate instructional technologies, and stay updated on trends.
- Measure learning effectiveness, analyze performance data, and recommend improvements.
- Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience as an Instructional Designer or similar position
- Expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, AGILE).
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Thinkific) and LMS platforms (Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
- Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
- Visual design skills (Adobe Captivate, After effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition)
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in developing online and blended learning programs.
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and deadlines.
