HR Manager (On site)
Position Summary
The role holder will be tasked with managing the day to day administration and overseeing Human Resources activities of the client’s business.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop the organization’s human resource department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
● Enforce management guidelines by developing, recommending, and updating human resource policies and procedures.
● Advances productivity and results by counselling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising employees’ work.
● Coordinates HR activities across the organization including: internal and external recruitment, onboarding and induction, payroll and records management, administration of absences and various leave options, training & development, performance reviews, succession planning, exit management, discipline and grievances, staff welfare, and all statutory requirements.
● Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
● Contributes to overall objectives of the operations division by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
● Minimum of 4 years experience in HR, with leadership position previously held
● Demonstrated HR generalist experience and capabilities across the employee life cycle
● Experience in HR operations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
● Ability to develop and present reports.
● Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
